Tyler Howell brings a wealth of business and legal experience to the practice of law. In doing so, he prides himself on his ability to develop creative solutions to complicated issues for his clients.

REAL ESTATE
After undergraduate, and prior to law school, Tyler had a successful career in commercial real estate. As a broker, Tyler negotiated countless commercial leases, and acquired some of the most sought-after listings in the Puget Sound.
As a Commercial Escrow Officer, and the Director of Commercial Operations at a public title company, Howell managed a team of escrow officers, handling the company’s most complicated transactions. In just two years, Tyler closed over $250M in transactions across the country. As a result of this broad experience, Howell understands the entire real estate ecosystem and leverages that knowledge for his clients.

Most title and escrow issues that arise in a residential or small commercial transaction are not insurmountable. However, having an advocate with a deep understanding of the nature of real estate and the title insurance process is a game changer.

CONSTRUCTION
Tyler put himself through undergraduate working as a carpenter and skilled laborer. He has roofed houses, poured foundations, built decks, installed windows, and more. Having hands on knowledge of how buildings are constructed allows Howell to understand the most complex construction projects.

Construction related litigation makes up a substantial portion of the litigation that arises out of the purchase and sale process. With expert counsel, spotting these issues during the closing process makes litigation unnecessary, and results in a amicable transaction. If your transaction is already closed, Howell is an expert in navigating construction defect litigation.

LITIGATION

While clerking during law school, Tyler discovered that he had the skill set to be an effective litigator. In particular, Tyler prides himself on being able to find leverage for his clients to achieve their desired outcome. While Tyler has been named a Super Lawyer for Construction Litigation specifically, he uses his litigation skillset to provide full service representation for his real estate clients as well.
